Nearby attractions include Dana Point Harbor housing 2500 yachts in its marina and over 50 specialty shops and restaurants. The tall ship Californian that travels between Northern and Southern California offers day sailing trips and is headquartered here, as is another majestic tall ship, the schooner "Pilgram".
The area has a wide range of eateries from quaint local spots to exquisite upscale dining. Close by is shopping at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.
